Lino Cuts

A variant printing technique of woodcut. One uses a piece of lino to engrave a relief. The drawing is created with a sculpting tool. The raised parts (not sculpted) represent the reverse (mirror image) of the parts that will be printed. The linoleum is coated with ink using a roller, then the paper is printed.
