Biting Through

I remain attentive to my thoughts and

I studied the I-Ching for a year, from January 2006 to December 2006. Almost every day, I immersed myself in the great wisdom, inherited from three thousand years of Chinese cultural history, contained in the I-Ching.
I then painted for seven months, from January 2007 to July 2007. Painting became a tool to better grasp the essence of each hexagram. The I-Ching is so deep that as I continued reading and meditating, I felt as if I could understand less and less. Yet there were moments of grace during which I could feel my heart resonating with the mystery of his teaching. The I Ching is like a living being. I walked for a few months with this being. I share here the fruit of our relationship. The affirmations were written by me.
