This series is inspired by my bird sightings this spring. I was particularly captivated by jackdaws and crows, very intelligent beings. The work evolved a lot while I was researching the symbolism of corvids in various mythologies : Nordic, Celtic, Asian, Native American...

The Kamon is a heraldic badge initially used by samurai clans to identify themselves more easily on the battlefield. They are usually in the form of stylized designs inside a geometric shape.
